The next one?

To quote Bill Walton...

How about the one for free?

JK...sorta.

I don't have a serious answer, but it certainly seemed they got better so the "next one" really might fit!

Thanks everyone for the ideas, and opinions . I should have said that I did get all the shows on AUD, as they came up ( THANK YOU Tapers ) to follow the tour . I missed the Forum show because the dentist took all my free money ! So the AUD downloads let me get sort of a vicarious tour !
As fine as the AUDs are, some of the "inner details" get lost .So I definitely am going to get a few of your suggestions in SBD . Thanks .

I would concur with your assessment of downloading the Forum show. Was there, both in the audience and backstage and the show was amazing. Great set list, great playing all around. The band really clicked. I downloaded the show from dead.net and have listened to it a number of times since. Really fine stuff.

I've been listening to 4-21 all morning - great Stella Blue - one for the ages. Rhythm Devils>Space>Maggie's>Eyes>Playin rocks. Encore Truckin does it for me. liljerry - you've asked before, and have gotten the same answer. are you insane?

LilJerry-
This has been addressed a number of times, but for the uninitiated, here goes:

Back in 2005, the catalogue was split, wherein any soundboard recording was removed from availability. You may still download any and most all audience recordings. The exception there is for commercially available shows, of which only some audience recordings still exist. Please don't try to break the copy protection schema, as we really would like to maintain our access to all of these. Should a number of people determine the "Ways Around" getting the soundboards, we may be destined to lose forever these gems from being immediately accessible.

You may stream any soundboard.

Now, as to the quality of soundboards versus the quality of audience recordings, or the beauty of a fine matrix, I leave that to the listener. I personally love an awesome audience tape more than anything, because, for me, the "Feeling" of being there, as I was so many times in my life, is inherently special. Sometimes, the audience sources are less than ideal. We, as a community rely on each other, and our remastering friends like Charlie Miller (a true star) and Noah Weiner (a poet, an encyclopedia and a sherpa) to arrive at the finest of qualities in mastering and remastering.

I welcome you to this corner of the world, and hope you enjoy your stay.

Yeah - the Branford shows I think I listened to the 4/28 show AUD and it rocked

Check the AUD first - you may not need the SBD of this
